Films: Blood Predator (2007)
Alias: None
Type: Alien
Location: Haunted home
Height/Weight: Twice that of housecats.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: A classic horror set-up. A bunch of lost youth find a cabin in the woods, and decide to stay in it, oblivious to danger. Unfortunately, that danger here happens to be a swarm of aliens who probably offed the effects guy before he could put in the effort.
History: We can only assume that these creatures were seen as vermin by the alien ship that launched them at our world. Then again, who would want these little death machines running around their ship? Either way, they landed in the snowy regions of the U.S. in 2004, where they resided in a small cabin, waiting for prey. And luckily, some survivors of a plane crash had stumbled in for dinner...
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After killing all but two, the predators' last victim sets off a handmade bomb that goes off, destroys the cabin, and obliterates the monsters in a fiery explosion.
Powers/Abilities: They are explosive breeders, and have a tongue that can extend to a ridiculous extent as well as impale prey.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 2-Sadly, an inventive creature design is undone by literally THE worst CGI we've seen this year. They didn't even TRY to make them look convincing! Okay, that's a bit harsh. The practical blood predators are fairly decent. Overall, these monsters would be higher if they were in better hands.
Trivia: -There's nothing remarkable about this film or anything around it.
Nothing at all.
